At First Note Music we partner with Music & Arts to offer you the highest quality band and orchestra instruments on the market.  From Selmer and Yamaha to Armstrong, Bach and everything in between, we stock nearly every band and orchestra instrument to meet your needs.

Our rent-to-own program is perfect for beginning students or adults.  100% of your rental payment applies directly toward the retail price of the instrument.  Along with the rental payment (see chart below for prices) we offer the LDW program.  LDW is the Liability/Damage Waiver: it covers any damage to your instrument (bent keys, pad replacement, etc...) and also covers your liability in the event of loss or theft.

Reasons to Rent

• No Obligation to Buy

You can return your instrument anytime you are renting with no further obligation.  There are no return fees and no cancellation fees.

• Return or Exchange Anytime While Renting

All the money you pay toward renting one instrument is fully transferrable to a different instrument of equal or greater value (exchange applies only to rental payment, not LDW coverage).  There is no exchange fee and we generally have replacement instruments in-stock.  Some larger instruments (string bass, tenor sax, bass clarinet) may require 5-10 business days before we can exchange.  See contract for further detials.

• 100% of Rental Payments Apply Toward Purchase

This is a rent-to-own program, therefore, all the money you pay in rental fees will apply toward the retail purchase price of that instrument.  You can rent for the entirety of your contract and at the end, the instrument is yours (remember, LDW and sales tax do not apply toward the purchase price).

• Competative Payoff Discount Available

As long as you are renting your instrument, we can guarantee you a 30% discount from the balance of your rental price.  Purchase options are available any time during your contract period.  Michael or Warren can tell you more at 239-573-3636.

Music & Arts only rents student-level instruments.  Step-up and professional instruments are not available through the rental program.  Please CONTACT US if you would like more information on purchasing those instruments!

Rent your instrument online and avoid the chaos of a rental meeting at school!  If you rent online, you have the option to have it sent to your home (for a shipping fee, of course).  However, if you choose in-store pick-up, we can deliver your instrument to you at school -  FREE!
