Our rent-to-own program is perfect for beginning students or adults. 100% of your rental payment goes directly toward the purchase price of the instrument. Along with the rental payment (see chart below for prices) we offer the LDW program. LDW is the Loss/Damage Waiver: it covers any damage to your instrument (bent keys, pad replacement, etc...) and also covers you in the event of loss or theft. It is, essentially, a comprehensive insurance program.




  • No obligation to buy
    You can return your instrument anytime you are renting with no further obligation. There are no return fees and no cancellation fees. You can find proper instrument return procedures here.

  • Return or exchange any time
    All the money you pay toward renting one instrument is fully transferrable to a different instrument of equal or greater value (exchange applies only to rental payment, not LDW coverage). There is no exchange fee and we generally have replacement instruments in-stock. Some larger instruments (string bass, tenor sax, bass clarinet) may require up to 5-business days before we can exchange. See contract for further detials.

  • 100% of rental payments apply toward purchase
    This is a rent-to-own program, therefore, all the money you pay on your rental instrument will apply toward the purchase price of that instrument. You can rent for the entirety of your contract and at the end, the instrument is yours.

  • Competitive payoff discount of 30% off at any time
    As long as you are renting your instrument, we can guarantee you a 30% discount from the balance of your purchase price. Purchase options are available any time during your contract period.
